This policy describes how Aegis Ascent (“the app”) handles information when you play on iOS. The app is provided by the developer identified on the App Store. For questions: ericminteractive@gmail.com.

Summary

The app does not show third-party advertisements. Some features use the internet, Sign in with Apple, and Google Firebase services to run online gameplay (for example stamina sync, leaderboards, and account-linked features). Firebase Analytics is used to understand how the app is used. In-app purchases are processed by Apple; the developer does not receive your payment card number.

Information the app may collect or process

Account and sign-in (Sign in with Apple + Firebase Authentication): When you choose to sign in, Apple may share an account identifier, and on first sign-in may share your name and email (including Apple’s Hide My Email) with Firebase so your session can be created and maintained.
Gameplay and profile data: Data needed to run the game and online features you use—such as progress, inventory-related state, display name used on leaderboards, and server-validated values (for example stamina or economy fields where applicable)—may be stored on Firebase (Firestore / backend) tied to your account.
Purchases: Purchase and entitlement information needed to deliver in-app purchases and subscriptions may be processed through Apple and validated or recorded on the developer’s backend.
Usage and diagnostics: Firebase Analytics may collect usage information (for example how the app is launched and used) and device/app identifiers as described in Google’s documentation for the Firebase SDK.

Third-party services

The app uses Google Firebase (including Authentication, Cloud Functions, and Analytics) and Apple’s platform services (including Sign in with Apple and StoreKit). Those providers process data under their own policies: Firebase & Google privacy, Apple privacy.

How we use information

To provide core app functionality, online features you request, security and fraud prevention, and customer support.
To operate leaderboards and other account-linked features fairly.
To understand stability and usage of the app (analytics).

Retention and security

Data is retained as needed to operate the game and meet legal obligations. Industry-standard safeguards are used where applicable; no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). Do not use the app if you are not old enough to agree to this policy where you live, unless a parent or guardian is involved as required by law.

Your choices

You can use Apple’s account settings to manage Sign in with Apple.
You can adjust analytics-related settings where Apple or Google offers them on the device or in your accounts.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when it is revised. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
