Privacy Policy — ELM Quest

This policy describes how ELM Quest (“the app”) handles information. The developer is an independent creator; contact: ericminteractive@gmail.com.

Summary

The app is designed to run without a developer-operated account system or game server. Game progress and preferences are stored on your device. The developer does not receive your save data. Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple; the developer does not receive your full payment card details.

Information stored on your device

The app stores gameplay state, settings, and similar data locally on your device (for example using iOS storage APIs). This data stays on your device unless you delete the app or use system features to erase it. It is not synced to developer-controlled servers by the app.

Important: Because progress is local, it cannot be recovered from the developer if you lose your device or delete the app, unless Apple or your own backups restore the app’s data.

In-app purchases (StoreKit)

Optional support purchases use Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple processes payment and provides the developer with information needed to validate and deliver purchases (such as transaction identifiers), subject to Apple’s privacy policy. The developer does not collect your card number through the app.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The app does not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs for the purpose of tracking you across apps or websites. The developer does not sell your personal information.

Crash or diagnostic data

If you share feedback by email, you choose what to include (for example device model, iOS version, screenshots). Apple may provide crash or usage diagnostics to developers through App Store Connect or Xcode, according to your device and App Store settings; the developer uses such information only to fix bugs and improve the app.

Children

The app is not directed at collecting personal information from children. If you believe information was collected in error, contact the email above.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date below will change when it is revised. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
